Mission: **ARCHIVED** 1 - Cruising through the galaxy
Location: Deck 2, USS Stardancer
Timeline: MD 00 - 1900 Hrs

Having spent his morning ensuring the rest of his affairs were in order and that he was cleared of the transient quarters at the Academy, Naltar finally beamed up to his new assignment. While he could've taken a shuttle, the man had already been through that experience on his first cruise and felt it best this time to just get on board and get settled in. After receiving his room assignment he made his way directly there. Considering he'd spent the last couple weeks studying the layout, he knew all of the vital corridors by heart.

Only having a single bag, he stood before his door and entered his code. It opened up immediately and the lights came up accordingly. The quarters were standard size for a single officer, with a front area that to his immediate left, had a table for two people to eat at that had a chair on either side, and the replicator nearby. Further forward on the left it contained a couch on the wall that had a large window behind it, flanked by end tables. A glass coffee table placed in front of the couch tied it together. Opposite of it to the right was one thing that stuck out like a sore thumb, a desk with a wrap around control console and a single screen on the interior wall. This made it painfully obvious he was expected to double his quarters as his office. Typically the Chief of a section had their own office, but not Operations. No matter, at least it kept him close to the Bridge should the need arise. All the way to the back straight in front of him was a king sized bed with night stands and a single door that led to the bathroom on the wall to the right of it. There was no way that more than two people, a couple, could live in these quarters.

He made his way over to the double wide dresser on the anterior wall to the left of the bed and put away the few sets of clothes he had brought, his uniforms were always replicated aside from his cadet pips and the couple of badges he'd earned to this point. Placing a picture of his parents on a small end table by the couch, he also took out a few keepsakes. The first power cell he assembled, also the first one he burned out from using while shooting for his marksmanship practice. A pin of the UFP logo his parents had given him, and a plaque that thanked him for his time on the Akira project at the shipyards. Otherwise he wasn't very sentimental.

One thing was for sure however, it was cold in his room "Computer, raise temperature to 38 degrees Celsius."

It only took a moment for the heat to spike up and he removed his outer jacket with a toss onto the couch, to allow the heat to more easily reach him. The last item puled from his bag was something he'd had since his first day at the academy, a small holo display device which he set on the empty coffee table and made his way to the desk signing on and connecting the device wirelessly a moment later. After making a few calibration adjustments, a large diagram of the ship appeared in the center of the room which put a smile on the Cardassian's face. It would be a lot easier to work with that versus a 2 dimensional display. And when he was in the mood for it, the emitter doubled as a way to play any movies when he got bored or perhaps wanted to entertain a guest.

Making his way to the replicator he ordered a large mug of fish juice. He needed to finish going over the work assignments he'd be handing out at 0800 and ensure he was properly hydrated for his workout at 0600. For the time being this would be his new home and it was time to get settled in, and time to get to work...

That first round pip wasn't going to come easy, and he knew it.

Nice descriptors. You threw in a few things I did not think about in "Toareth Moves In." Nice ship introduction to the ship and also a nice look into Naltar as a person.
